BAKED BEANS
Okanagan's Original

INSTRUCTIONS:
  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F. 
  2. Heat the olive oil in a big saucepan, and add the chopped garlic cloves and chilli flakes. Cook over a medium heat for 2-3 minutes until golden and fragrant. 
  3. Add tomato paste, maple syrup and the remaining spices, stir well to combine and cook for a couple more minutes.
  4. Add crushed tomatoes or passata and bring to a simmer. 
  5. Drain and wash the beans and add them to the pan, add Okanagan’s Original Dressing and stir well.
  6. Transfer to an oven safe dish/plate and place in the oven for 20-30 minutes.
  7. Right before serving, gently stir in the chopped parsley and rosemary. Enjoy!
INGREDIENTS:

  • ​​2 small cans navy or cannelloni beans, drained and rinsed well
  • 2 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 small can crushed tomatoes or tomato passata 
  • 1/4 cup Okanagan’s Original Dressing
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 3 tsp onion powder 
  • 1/2 tsp ground mustard

​GARNISH:
  • 1 Tbsp fresh rosemary
  • 1 Tbsp fresh parsley (chopped)
